Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Lagos State governor and a founder of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is in a private meeting with governors of the party.
This is coming on the heels of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s presidential declaration and his meeting with APC governors last night.
NEWSWATCHplus gathered that the meeting is being held away from prying eyes of the press at the Kebbi State Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja.
Alhaji Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, the Kebbi State governor, is also the Chairman of the Progressive Governor’s Forum, PGF.
According to a reliable source, he has the ears of many northern governors, and Tinubu has been paying him regular visits in order to get his support.
