August Alsina to write book on ‘entanglement’ with Jada Pinkett

Will Smith’s family life is set to be thrown back into the spotlight once again, as it is being reported that August Alsina will reflect on his entanglement with Jada Pinkett Smith, in an upcoming book about his life.

Will Smith has kept a low profile after he stormed on stage at the Oscars last month, and slapped Chris Rock.

In the wake of that drama, it has been reported that August will be putting pen to paper about his life, including his much-publicized ‘entanglement’ with the Scream 2 actress.

According to reports, there is a ‘bidding war’ over his memoirs, with the musician to sign a six-figure deal.

‘August is getting ready to sign a big money book deal which will detail his romantic liaisons with Jada,’ an insider told the Sun.

‘August will go into detail about his time with Jada and will also speak about how he spent time living in homes owned by Will when he was away filming.

‘As well as speaking about their relationship at that time, August wants to open up about the aftermath of going public and how it affected him personally and his career.

‘He knows there are a lot of people fascinated by his story and is happy to tell it.’

The source added that ‘several publishers’ are bidding for the rights to his story.

Will and Jada tied the knot in 1997 and share children Willow and Jaden together.

Their marriage was thrown into the spotlight two years ago when August dropped the bombshell claim that he had a relationship with the Gotham actress during their marriage.

As well as this, he also alleged that he had the Oscar-winner’s blessing over their brief romance.

Addressing August’s claims during an emotional instalment of Red Table Talk, Will later confirmed he had briefly split with his wife at the time.

Jada said: ‘We were over. From there, as time went on, I got into a different kind of entanglement with August.
