Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo state, Ajiboye Omodewu is dead.
Omodewu died in the United States. He reportedly left Nigeria in November 2023 for treatment of an undisclosed ailment.
Olawale Sadare, Oyo APC publicity secretary, confirmed the politician’s death to the press.
In 2021, Omodewu was elected chairman of Oyo APC.
He was the commissioner of lands, housing, survey and urban development in the administration of Abiola Ajimobi, former governor of Oyo.
