Nigerian Air Force bombs bandit leader’s enclave again

Nigerian Air Force (NAF) fighter jets have launched another attack on the enclave of Zamfara bandit leader Bello Turji.

According to reports, the notorious bandit narrowly escaped aerial bombardment on his home, Saturday afternoon.

A source told Daily Trust that the fighter jet returned to the area around 9am on Monday, dropping at least two bombs.

Meanwhile, bandits suspected to be from Turji’s camp have launched an assault on travelers along Sokoto-Gusau road in Shinkafi, Monday morning.

A resident of Shinkafi, Murtala Wadatau, said the armed men blocked the road at Kwanar Badarawa and Birnin Yero.
