The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said over 11 million new applicants have completed their voter registration between June 2021 and July 2022.
According to the data released by the commission, as of 7am on Monday, July 25, the number of people who have completed their registration is 11,011,119.
Of this figure, 3,391,940 started their registration online while 7,619,179 carried out their registration physically.
Lagos State is ahead for the number of completed registrations with 508,936; followed by Kano with 500,207.
According to INEC, youths aged between 18 and 35 constitute the highest number of completed registrations with a total of 7,828,570.
