Author, Chuks Iloegbunam presents book on Peter Obi

A renowned journalist and author Chuks Iloegbunam has presented his latest offering : The Promise Of A New Era: The story of Governor Peter Obi.

Iloegbunam was Chief of staff to Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the labour party when he was governor of Anambra state.

The prestigious Sports Club Enugu was filled to the brim with friends of the author and fans of the subject of the book just like other lovers of literature were there to pick autographed copies directly from the author first hand.

Chairman of occasion was former UNN VC and former minister of power Prof Chinedu Nebo while book reviewer was Prof Joy Ezeilo whose oratorical review charged up the audience.

Guest of honor was Prof Uzodinma Nwala convener of Ala Igbo foundation.

He drove all the way from owerri to be part of the occasion.

Distinguished guests included Chief Ralph Obioha, Labour Party senatorial candidate and former APGA National chairman Senator Victor Umeh, Labour Party Guber Candidate Enugu Chief Chijioke Edeoga.

Others were renowned estate valuer and Ohanaeze chieftain Chief Joe Nwaorgu who always projected his Igboness without apologies during his vote of thanks.

Also Public relations guru Alfred Nwosu, revered mass comm teacher Prof Okunna, former Anambra Commissioner for Environment Dr Egbedike, both of whom represented the subject were at the event just like Dr Ejiofor Benjack Nwankwo, M D of Fourth Dimension publishers and a host of other distinguished Nigerians.

Top broadcaster Jika Attoh and Oseloka Zikora were on hand to join the coordination of the event with business consultant Charles Iloegbunam.

Compere of the event was Von Nwadukwe.

Chuks Iloegbunam has written many books including Ironsi; a thought provoking expose on power and politics in Nigeria.
