Popular socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has confirmed his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
NEWSWATCHplus reported earlier about how the nightclub owner was arrested by the EFCC for alleged tax fraud and money laundering.
According to reports, Okechukwu, who was arrested at the Lagos airport on Thursday, was quizzed by anti-graft operatives while the agency was said to be on the hunt for his accomplices.
During his grilling in the custody of the anti-graft agency, Newswatchplus that only his wife and family members wereno allowed to see him.
On Monday, he took to his Instagram page to write, “EFCC, I have been tested. Ok thank you. I will never forget the experience. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, make una resend alll my birthday wishes.”
